Fidel Weighs In…

One of the things I look at very closely when it comes to elections, is the endorsements that are given out by certain individuals and groups.

I’m especially fascinated to look at who the leaders of nations who are, shall I say, less than friendly to our nation choose to endorse.  Like North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba.

Well, Fidel Castro has endorsed Barak Obama, and done so with very high praise.

Somehow that just doesn’t make me feel all warm and fuzzy about Obama as our president.

I just wonder who Hugo Chavez and Kim Jong Il are endorsing…

Do YOU pay attention to the endorsements given out by such leaders?  Do they enter into your decision making process??

I have to say those endorsements aren’t even blips on my radar. They’re only done for political reasons — why would any foreign leaders care in the slightest who gets elected here? It isn’t like *their* constituents can vote. They make their endorsements only to swing frightened voters over here to the other candidate(s), which seems to have worked in at least one case.

You REALLY don’t think that foreign leaders care in the slightest who gets elected here? Oh, I think you’re very wrong there. I think they care a great deal!

If you believe that, why would they want to swing “frightened voters” in a different direction? Why would they bother saying anything at all?

It is amazing that this “blip” goes undetected on most peoples radar! They somehow think being endorsed by a communist leader is a great thing. The saddest part is that these same people have this radical desire for change that they impulsively jump on the band wagon for the leader proposing the most radical change! Little do they understand exactly what these changes are.. and oftentimes.. too late.

From Audacity of Hope – Written by Barack Obama:

‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly
    direction.’-

We need to think this one through very seriously.
